It has a simple grammatical structure, with no pesky tense changes, no masculine or feminine forms, and no complicated word classes to learn.Alongside speaking and listening skills, students will also learn to read and write Chinese characters. The lessons use specially developed accelerated language learning techniques, and these can also help with learning other languages too.In addition to the weekly live lessons, the course includes specially prepared audio recordings and weekly worksheets to support practice and reinforce learning between sessions.

What to expect… British Sign Language classes taught in a fun and engaging way! Throughout the lessons, students will learn fingerspelling, vocabulary, sentence structure, grammar, and deaf awareness. Lessons include interactive elements such as videos, games, images, and other visual resources to support learning.
These classes help young ones to develop confidence in understanding and communicating in BSL, whilst also giving insight into deaf awareness, including common barriers deaf people may face and how communication can be made more accessible and inclusive.

Ideal for… We offer classes for ages 4–7, 8–12, and 13–16. These sessions are suitable for complete beginners with no prior knowledge of sign language, as well as those with some existing experience.
Our classes are inclusive and accessible for both hearing and deaf children. For hearing children, they provide a valuable communication skill that can be used in everyday life and future careers. For deaf children, they offer an opportunity to further develop and strengthen their BSL skills. They are also highly supportive for children with SEND, offering an additional and visual way of communicating.
